Возобновление раскопок «Крымской Атлантиды» в 2015 годуКак и ожидалось, буквально несколько дней назад начались раскопки под Керчью. Специалисты стремятся открыть тайны городища Акра, которое затоплено морем. Все новый полевой сезон начался удачно! Что же удалось найти? Раскопать?

Месторасположение

Итак, специалисты ведут работы под Керчью. Все происходит у поселка Набережное (Ленинский район, г. Крым, РФ). Городище Акра было затоплено в свое время водой из моря. Большая часть сохранившегося памятника из древнейших времен располагается под водной кладью, а поэтому не удивляет тот факт, что сами археологи прозвали место «Крымской Атлантидой».

Вся приведенная выше информация была любезно представлена специалистом из пресс-службы Института истории материальной культуры РАН. Также она была подтверждена В. Вахонеевым, который руководит группой археологов-копателей. Мужчина считается кандидатом исторических наук, а также заведующим отделом подводной археологии при Черноморском центре подводных исследований в г. Симферополь. Еще один участник – С. Соловьев, который считается ведущим научным сотрудником Эрмитажа.

Несколько слов из истории города

Акра – это населенный пункт, который существовал в период античности. Время основания – конец VI в. до н.э. Он просуществовал до начала третьего века н.э. Специалисты говорят, что он входил в состав Боспорского царства. Упоминание о городке есть в творчестве таких писателей, как С. Византийский, Птолемей, Страбон и т.д. Городок находился на берегу Керченского пролива, там, где был низкий мыс, который выступал в море на двести-триста метров. Когда повысился уровень моря, город ушел под воду частично.

Практически в то же время практически то же самое приключилось с Херсонесом, Пантикапеей, Мирмекией, Фанагорией, Ольвией. Трансгресия была довольно продолжительной, а поэтому были уничтожены культурные напластования, разного рода сооружения, которые были расположены в зоне на берегу. Правда, сказанное выше не касается вообще никоим образом Акры. Почему? Потому что она была расположена на низменном участке. Были навсегда уничтожены сооружения, которые появились в римское время.

Раскопки, которые проводят в Крыме, проходят по тому же сценарию, что и в 2013-2014 гг. Уже удалось увидеть оборонительную стену, которая имеет протяженность на 150 м. У нее такие ширина и высота – около 2-х и 1,6-1,7 м соответственно. Не нашли пока подошву кладки. Это сооружение появилось еще в середине IV в. до н.э.

Теперь будут исследовать все тот же участок, который примыкает к стене с оборонительным назначением. В шурфе же нашли развал крупных блоков. В итоге были вынуждены прервать раскопки в 2014 г., и с того же места продолжат раскопки в 2015 г., когда шурф удалось расширить. Уже отмечают прекрасное сохранение культурного слоя на участке (стена – защита от размывания).
